1. 1

   Open your invitation

   Your invite email carries your new Kiewiet address and a temporary password. That password expires 24 hours after it was sent — if it has already expired, ask for a fresh invite.

   Choose your own password

   At least 14 characters, with upper and lower case, a number and a symbol. Three or four unrelated words with mixed case, a digit and a symbol can make a memorable passphrase.

   Add an authenticator app

   Kiewiet asks for a six-digit code at every sign-in. Scan the QR code with any authenticator — 1Password, Bitwarden, Apple Passwords, Google Authenticator. Keep that app: without it, a stolen password is still not enough, and neither is one code.

4. 4

   You land in your mailbox

   That’s it. Your browser is never given a password, key or token. A session lasts a week, and you can end it from the account menu.
